Our History within the Community
The Cavanaugh’s have been in Coronado since 1951 when Great Grandpa Bob and Great Grandma Lucy first purchased land and built a house to call home. Now three generations of Cavanaugh’s later that home is where the great grandchildren come to play.
Meaningful Contributions to the Community
Cavanaugh Construction is part of the Coronado Community and the owners Dana Cavanaugh and his son Mac Cavanaugh want to make sure they are making meaningful contributions to the community through the homes they build; as well as in-kind donations and volunteering for organizations within the Coronado community.
Below is a list of in-kind donations and volunteering opportunities Cavanaugh Construction has participated in and we hope to grow this list as we grow as a company.
The Coronado Schools Foundation raises funds to provide additional learning experiences for Coronado Unified School District students.

The Coronado Promenade Concerts produces and manages the Spreckels park summer concerts that have been a great tradition of Coronado life for almost 50 years.

The Optimist Club of Coronado is a service organization dedicated to bringing out the best in youth through the empowerment of a positive attitude. They focus on developing optimism as a philosophy of life.
